This week's business blogging tips should enhance your Web searching power:

Find Corporate Bloggers. Steve Rubel offers a simple trick: simply search for the phrase "I work for (company name)." This will help you filter out many (but not all) spam blogs.
See Who Links to Your Website. On many search engines, you can do this simply by searching for "link:http://www.yourwebsite.com." Use this trick to find comments by other people about your website. Then go talk to them!
Know Where to Search. The best blog search engines at the moment are Technorati, Google Blog Search, IceRocket, Blogpulse and Bloglines. If you can't find it at these five places, it probably ain't there (or ain't important).
Use Alexa. The "Traffic Rankings" search is easy and offers information such as a basic traffic rank, a list of related websites, and even average page load times.
Get a Newsreader. Make it easier to find the news that you want by setting up a newsreader account - it's like your personalized newspaper, but with images, sound and even video added (if you like). Try Bloglines, Newsgator, Rojo, Blogbridge - my personal favorites so far.
