Hello, I'm Easton Ellsworth. I write for BusinessBlogWire.com and serve as Assistant Editor of the Know More Media business blog network. Let's break me down: ![]()
Age: 24 (I know, just a kid)
School: The University of Utah (first-year history graduate student; I got a bachelor's degree in history in 2005 from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah)
Family: Wife, Kid (both beautiful and fun; guess which one wears diapers)
Qualifications: An intense love for research, writing and conversation; a year of experience working from home on the Web; a lifelong interest in emerging technologies.
Responsibilities: Husband, Father, Work, School, etc. For Know More Media, I help to train and mentor our bloggers, regularly reviewing their posts and offering advice as needed. I also help to spread the word about our company.
My Message to You: Folks, I'm young and lack a badge that says "Expert." If that bothers you, then let my blog (Business Blog Wire) be as much a lesson about the learning process as it is a conversation about business blogging. Please teach me what you know; let's help each other become better bloggers - and hopefully better human beings - for having collaborated in that conversation.

Hmmm, Easton...I'm not sure anyone's offering advanced degrees in blogging just yet. All that's required (IMHO) are the ability to keenly observe the world we live and blog in, great writing skills, and a wicked sense of humor.
I think you qualify.

When I was about your age I complained to a mentor of mine that I was bothered that people saw me as too young to take seriously. He suggested that this was a problem that one day I would wish I still had!
One of the best things I see of the 21st century, having grown up in an age of 'experts' is that no one can now really claim to be an 'expert'. I'm happy to settle for being an ongoing learner and sharer.
Power to your arm!

Thanks, Des. Someone called me a "babyface" at school the other day ... but I'm not too young to be, as you said, a continuing learner and sharer. That knows no limits.

Hi Easton, I was on ProBlogger.net and I saw a note you posted in the comments to someone who is challenged by the blogging thing. I'd like to ask for some help as well. Would you mind emailing me? Thanks! christinekane@mac.com.

Hey,
Im really sorry to bother you, I was on Micro Persuasion, and noticed you had posted a reply from Hugh Mcintyre of the Hanso Foundation.
Are you at all involved with this foundation? Or do you know Hugh?
Thanks very much,
sorry once again

Luciey, um ... the Hanso Foundation? You mean *this* Hanso Foundation?
If you can tell me what one snowman said to the other, I will tell you everything I know.
There's a tie in to blogging somewhere, I just know it ...

If possible could you email me on luciey_lostiey@hotmail.com
Thanks very much
Luciey
