Patrick Dodd on Calling Your Business Blog Visitors to Action
I'm part of a group of over 500 bloggers known as the LinkedIn Bloggers.  Each week we do a "blogboost" by recognizing the blog of one of our members. This week, we're spotlighting a post by Patrick Dodd over at the Shadowbox blog, Corporate Blogging 101.  Patrick's post is called "Converting Traffic Into Business."  Speaking to those who have blogged for some time without successful monetization, he asks:

"What have you done to create an effective call to action in your blog?"

I think what Patrick is implying is that it's not enough to be subtle all the time.  Sometimes you need to come right out and say, "This is exactly what I want you, the visitor, to do."  That could be buying your product, following your way of thinking, or simply having a nice day.

So the moral is, Be Bold.  Ask and more people will do it.

And on that note, I invite you, my reader, to be more bold in your blogging from now on!
