1. You've done something wrong in your business and your blog is the most effective way to communicate with the people you've disappointed or hurt.
2. You've posted something false or misleading on your company blog.
3. You've neglected or offended your blog visitors.
4. You've broken a promise or failed to try hard, whether in your corporate blogging efforts or elsewhere.
Hmm ... when else? That's all I can think of. There are quite a few reasons not to apologize for certain things via your company blog, too.
I should put some form of these thoughts into the BusinessBlogWire Wiki. You're welcome to help me do that.
Thanks to Steve Remington at Why My Blog Stinks for the inspiration. Steve, you're an SOB and your blog stinks (i.e. reeks of knowledge and expertise) - sorry, couldn't resist the weird compliment. :) (In which case maybe I shouldn't have said sorry!)

Hey Easton,
I wanted to pull up the perma link for the UMass post to add to my Weekly Good Reads post, but I keep getting errors and warnings.
I got it on this posts too, but I did get the comments, hopefully it works.
