Six Apart has a detailed press release explaining the new features you can find in their latest blog platform. The ones that excite me most are the "activity feeds" (instant notification of blog changes, oh my!), the widget tools and the revamped spam protection.
Behold the pricing information from the press release:
Movable Type Enterprise licenses will be available through the summer at introductory pricing beginning under $4000, with support priced at less than $2000 per year. This support includes all updates and upgrades to the software as well as a two-hour response time for two designated customer contacts.
The free Personal license for Movable Type is now open to unlimited users. A supported version of the Personal license is available for $49.95.
Know More Media uses Movable Type and as one of the network's editors, I can promise you that, while it's certainly not perfect, Movable Type is really an excellent blogging platform. Worth looking into if you're thinking of starting a corporate blog or your own professional blog.
As an aside, I do wish Six Apart would post much more frequently to its own corporate blogs - it seems that most of their posts consist either of official product announcements or apologies for outages or problems of various kinds. I know that's probably not the case, but when I say "it seems," I'm talking about the feeling I get when I interact with ther blogs. (I discussed the importance of blog visitor feelings in my review of the new Dell one2one corporate blog).

Easton,
These days most people are talking about Word Press. Please write something about it. However, I am a big MT fan now after working with it in KMM for the last 4 months.
