Reviews for the project so far have typically included evaluations of each corporate blog found and/or a discussion of what the company could do with more blogs. Other forms of "social media" (podcasts, video blogs, Web feeds, etc.) are also being studied.
Of course the list is still woefully inadequate. That it trumps any other such list I've seen speaks to the need for further research on this subject. If you've got a few spare minutes, I'd love it if you could add more blogs to the list. I know that Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft, Sun, AOL (a Time Warner company) and others on the list need to have many more blogs added by their names. And a great many companies have yet to be investigated in detail.
Keep in the mind that the goal of this project isn't just to get better numbers than have previously been widely available regarding Fortune 500 corporate blogs. The main goal, as I see it, is to provide a comprehensive look at these companies' blogging efforts - a sweeping review that is as much qualitative as quantitative (if not more so). We want to see to what extent Fortune 500 companies are blogging well, where they're falling short, how their blogs are evolving as compared to non-Fortune 500 blogs, etc.
Anyway, thanks for your help and I'll keep everyone posted on the project's progress!
