Happy 1st Birthday to Blogtipping Day!  The first monthly Blogtipping Day was exactly one year ago today.  Time flies when you're surprising other bloggers with free praise and blogging tips!

Please join the celebratory fun by going blogtipping with me!  To go blogtipping, simply publish a blog post wherein you offer praise and blogging advice to at least one unsuspecting blogger.  It's fun, easy and can make a blogger's month start off with an appreciative smile!

I customarily surprise three bloggers on the first calendar day of each month and offer each one three items of praise along with one hearty blogging tip.  However, since the purpose of blogtipping is simply to help and encourage other bloggers, please feel free to blogtip whenever, whomever and however you wish.

If you go blogtipping today or sometime this week, I'll gladly link to your blogtipping post in my monthly blogtipping roundup this Friday.  I'll do my best to track down and link to every last blogtipper, but feel free to let me know the URL of your blogtipping post just in case.

1. Imaginative posts.
2. I love it when you crunch numbers or dig up facts the rest of us have missed.
3. You're not afraid to dish up long, meaty posts on a regular basis.

Tip: Do a post where you talk about ITtoolbox for the uninitiated.

Blogtippee 3: Small Business PR and Marketing by Catriona Pollard

1. Well-placed, appropriate images in many posts.
2. Bolded subheadings that break up text into bite-size chunks.
3. Great reporting on the state of corporate blogging in Australia.

Tip: Spice up your design a bit to get away from the basic WordPress template look.  You've got great content, so adjust the colors, column widths, fonts, font sizes, layout, etc. a little to accentuate that content all the more.
