Business Blog Wire

Note: Friday Insider is a new weekly feature discussing my work for Know More Media as it relates to business blogging and is helping me make this blog HOT (Herculean, Outgoing and Timely) in April 2007.

As you may know, I am an editor for Know More Media, which owns Business Blog Wire.  Have you ever wondered what I do all day as a blog network editor?  Would you like to hear what I've been doing this week for my company?

Good. :)  Here are the 3 biggies:

1. Recruiting - I looked for new authors for 10 of our blogs covering these niche business topics: lead generation, working from home, investing, real estate, construction, marketing, banking, the automotive industry, venture capital and recruiting.  I'll give you $20 if you tell me about someone who is an expert on any of those topics and they join us.

2. Advertising - I updated our advertising information page and made it easier to contact us.  If you're interested in placing any kind of advertising on our network, please contact me!  You won't be disappointed.  See our media kit (uploaded it last night!) for more details.

3. Traffic Generation - We have ambitious traffic goals and I've helped roll out some things to motivate our fabulous bloggers to achieve those goals.  I give as much 1-on-1 blogging feedback to each author as I can.
