Fortune 500 Corporate Blog Review: #37 UnitedHealth

Contuining our relentless march forth to the glorious 500th review of Fortune 500 companies' corporate blogs (or lack thereof), I now take a look at #37, UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH).

The UnitedHealth site (I wish UnitedHealth.com took you there) has the perfunctory boring Fortune 500 corporate newsroom - blogless, commentless, feedless, lifeless - just PR-spun "news" about the company's progress.

Forgive me for being somewhat snarky on this - I just wish I had a couple hours to sit down with all the Fortune 500 companies and give 'em a few suggestions on how to make their corporate news pages more conversational and inviting to all people.  Maybe Chad Horenfeldt could give 'em his two cents as well.

Not only does UHG have no public-facing corporate blogs (unless it's hiding them from us all!), it doesn't appear to be engaging with blogs about health care at all.  Not that there's much being said about UnitedHealth on blogs right now, but still - where's the conversation?
