Five quick questions and answers with Thord Hedengren from Bloggertalks, a new blog that hosts interviews with professional bloggers.

Easton: What is BloggerTalks?
Thord: Bloggertalks is an interview site that, well, interviews interesting persons in the blogosphere. We talk to the bloggers themselves, about what they do, what they have learned, and how they got to where they are today. The idea is that the Bloggertalks readers can learn from other people’s experiences and all will benefit. And, of course, to provide good quality reading a couple of times each week, beyond short and sassy blog posts.
Easton: Why should professional bloggers care about BloggerTalks?
Thord: Well, bringing out the first site in my upcoming blog network and all, I wanted something that I truly missed in the blogosphere. There are interviews as part of the coverage at a lot of sites, but I didn’t feel they went deep on the topics. So I went with that, the fact that I felt there was an actual niche to claim.
Easton: Who’s been your favorite interviewee so far?
Thord: Actually, so far all interviewees have been very nice. I do however have to name John Evans, who took the time before the actual site was online which was very kind of him, and Mike Rundle was a breeze as well. But as I said, I’ve been lucky with my subjects so far, both the ones who you can find on the site and the ones you’ll see in the coming weeks.
Easton: What can bloggers do to get interviewed?
Thord: Besides good stuff you mean? We urge our visitors to nominate people for interview over at Bloggertalks. Some have suggested themselves and that’s OK, of course, we’ll check it out and see how it fits in. So far we’ve gotten a lot of suggestions (and I really mean a lot!) which is great. Also, we’re always on the lookout for interesting people in the blogosphere so if you’re doing a good thing and get some buzz, we’ll most likely at least check your stuff out at some point.
